I am a self-taught, beginner woodworker, having entered the hobby in November 2002. Since then, I've built fairly small, simple projects, each chosen to introduce me to a new joinery technique. I've also been experimenting with a variety of woods and finishing techniques. My goal is to become a master woodworker, capable of building highly refined, heirloom-quality woodworking pieces.
This site will show you what I've built, what I learned during the construction and finishing process, what tools I used, what turned out well, and what needs more refinement. If you're a beginner woodworker, this site may give you some clues of what to expect. If you're an experienced woodworker, you'll probably say, "Yeah, been there, done that."
With this site, you can see how I progress from a beginner to a more advanced woodworker.
