What I Learned: |
This project taught me how to use the compound functionality of my compound miter saw. It took a lot of experimentation to get the corners right. Download an Excel spreadsheet that helps you calculate compound miter angles. |

What Didn't Work: |
Glue - I had a problem getting rid of wood glue along the joints after the project had been assembled. As a result, there are some places where the lumber didn't take the stain. I'll work harder at sanding in the corners on the next project. |
