Great web site and demonstration! Do you have any advice on axle preparation for the new 2009 BSA wheels and axles?

Hi! I came across your site while searching for cabinet plans. Your quilt rack is exactly what I was looking for to hang in my kitchen. My father is a superior craftsman and has always inspired me. I love custom wood creations. Keep up the great work!

Steve,
I stumbled across your site looking for prices of rough cut lumber. I'm looking into building a shop and starting an on the side sort of deal. The way you have laid out your site, describing in detail your equipment is very helpful and well done. I checked out your projects as well and they look like they are quality pieces. I'm looking forward to seeing more in the future. Nice Work!

Thank you for your plans for the CD rack!! Am going to build one or more. The idea of 400 dado cuts is overwhelming!!!
By the way, you mentioned you had a problem with parallel cuts. Have you looked into a crosscut sled or sliding table? Do a Google or read "The Table Saw" by Mehler.
See ya

Hi, Steve, nice site! - You might want to get a set of cabinet scrapers. I use them to smooth planks and joints after gluing. I don't have a planer, and get good results on rough lumber using only my random orbit sander and the cabinet scrapers. Good technique is required, wear leather gloves, and grasp in both hands and bend the scraper with your thumbs as you pull or push it. Allow only the curved edge to touch the wood, never the corners of the scraper. Great way to remove excess glue.
